Trees bring a natural beauty to our communities, provide health and economic benefits, support local ecosystems, and are a part of our city’s heritage. Sign up for monthly email updates (non-residents welcome) and together, we can make a positive impact for the whole of Rockville, just like we did to save RedGate Park.

We're on a mission to help Rockville residents educate and advocate for the Mayor and Council to give top priority to reforesting Rockville and protecting our existing tree canopy. The election is over but you can still read responses to our canditate survey.

Our goals are centered on:

• Updating the City tree master plan and code to prioritize native, climate-resistant trees.
• Protecting existing trees, especially mature native trees.
• Continuing to support homeowners to plant trees (financially, native tree give-aways, outreach).
• Developing a comprehensive plan to address invasive plants in Rockville, especially vines which kill trees.
• Prioritizing the arboretum at RedGate Park.
